DELIVERABLES

Implementation

Logo Iterations & Selection:

  • Three concept explorations refining form, negative space, and proportion.
  • Final version combined the “B/P” abstraction with a dynamic yet stable composition.

Business Cards:

  • Four layout experiments leveraging transparency, layering, and material finishes.
  • Chosen design uses a translucent overlay behind the monogram, reinforcing depth and multidimensional expertise.

Multilingual Website & API:

  • Built a responsive site with language‐toggle functionality (English, Turkish, Chinese).

  • Developed a RESTful API connected to a custom dashboard, allowing non-technical staff to manage content (text, imagery, PDFs) across all language versions.

  • Integrated CMS features: role-based access, instant preview, and automated backups.

Logo Concept:

  • Abstraction of “B” and “P”: balanced, interlocking monogram that reads as both letters and a stylized shield.
  • Color Palette:
      • Orange: Creativity and innovation.

      • Gray: Stability and professionalism.

      • Black: Authority and seriousness.

Scalability & Responsiveness:

  • Logo tested for legibility across print (business cards, letterhead) and digital (website header, social avatars).

  • Variations consisted full-context, half-context, and icon use.

Typography & Tone:

  • Modern sans-serif fonts to pair with the monogram’s clean lines.
  • Verbal guidelines emphasize concise, authoritative phrasing.

Good design is an iterative process. It doesn’t emerge fully formed but evolves through exploration, experimentation, and refinement. Each adjustment  plays a crucial role in shaping the final outcome.

In developing the Berkkam logo, I created three variations, each pushing the boundaries of form, balance, and negative space. The final iteration stood out as the most effective by integrating the abstracted B and P while conveying a sense of innovation, trust, and stability.

After receiving approval on the second logo proposal, the next step was to determine its application within the brand identity. There are countless ways to implement a logo and integrate it into a cohesive visual system, so I developed four distinct business card designs, each exploring different compositions and material interactions of the selected logo.
